Roles and Responsibilities

  • Daily collaboration with internal teams such as Business Development, Medical Directors, Medical Editor, Outcomes, Patient Education, Marketing and Program Management
  • Initiate and facilitate grant development kickoffs with internal teams
  • Prepare grant documents – proposals, letters of request (LORs) and budgets
  • Facilitate review/approval of grant documents with internal stakeholders (business development team, medical directors) and external clients (accredited providers and advocacy partners)
  • Prepare/provide grant document package and supporter details to grant submitter in order for them to complete portal entries and/or portal entry templates and create supporting documentation uploads for grant submissions
  • Review/approve completed portal entries and supporting document uploads to ensure accuracy prior to grant submission
  • Complete daily status updates of grant submissions in Salesforce
  • Ensure letters of agreement (LOAs) for funded grants are signed and fully executed prior to the confirmed educational activity start
  • Respond to supporter requests for additional information (RAIs) as needed
  • Prepare and submit change of scope (COS) requests to supporters as needed
  • Conduct weekly supporter request for proposals (RFPs) research
  • Provide weekly updates to Finance team on status of open supporter LOAs
  • Provide grant status reports and updates to Business Development personnel upon request

Roles and Responsibilities

  • 1-2 years prior continuing medical education (CME) and/or grant preparation and submission experience
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required
  • Knowledge of conferencing tools (Zoom, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data entry/sales databases (Salesforce, etc.)
