Social media plays an essential role in bringing learners to our programs and expanding our brand awareness in the marketplace. The Social Media Specialist will assist with developing and executing a social media strategy that drives patient and HCP participation in our educational programs.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing our portfolio of social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
  • Serve as PlatformQ Health’s voice on our social channels, engaging in dialogue and answering questions where appropriate
  • Design, create, and manage organic and paid campaigns, content, and collateral targeting various segments across our learner audiences
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Explore new channels, tactics, and opportunities to strengthen our reach and engagement
  • Tracking and reporting on social media engagements & campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • 2-5  years of experience in a social media role (experience targeting patients and/or HCPs is a plus)
  • Strong communication and copywrite skills
  • Deep interest in current and emerging social media and digital marketing strategies
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong design skills – video editing is a plus
  • Understanding of social advertising (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn advertising, etc.)
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with regularly shifting goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work simultaneously as part of a team to execute on multiple projects that involve various internal and external partners
