PlatformQ Health educational initiatives provide digital education for providers and patients through impactful online educational design. The company currently produces programs in numerous therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology, infectious disease, psychiatry, neurology, rheumatology, and rare diseases. Oncology is the fastest growing therapeutic area at PlatformQ Health and we are seeking support for the medical oncology education business unit. We are actively searching for a candidate for the position of Medical Director with specific experience in Medical Oncology. This position reports to the VP, Medical Oncology.

Experience:

• Masters of Science with 5 years CME experience; PhD preferred
• Strong experience implementing CME programs in oncology
• Strong experience writing needs assessments based on current literature, educational needs, and clinical management gaps
• Experience in solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
• Working knowledge of oncology pipelines, a focus on solid tumors preferred

Responsibilities of the Medical Director:

• Provide guidance to the Audience Engagement team regarding the scientific messaging for campaigns designed to attract new learners. Review materials from editorial team to ensure alignment with learning objectives. Ensure deliverables and target audience accurately identified.
• Collaborate with Educational Grants team to help drive business growth by advising on new opportunities based on scientific research and evidence and meeting with grantors.
• Lead the scientific and slide review of CME/CE program content. Collaborate with presenting clinical faculty to ensure accuracy of content. Lead kick-off calls with PM and faculty to communicate program content and goals. Review slides from faculty for accuracy and flow. Adhere to scheduled timelines.
• Lead the slides and scientific review of patient program content. Collaborate with content writers, presenting faculty and partners to ensure accuracy of the content. Lead kick-off calls with PM and content writers for patient slide deck preparation. Review slide decks for accuracy and patient-friendly language. Adhere to scheduled timelines.
• Collaborate with the Outcomes Team to provide scientific insights based on outcomes data from CME/CE and patient programs. Review the data from outcome reports, identify key scientific takeaways and define next steps. Development of pre and post questions with VP of Outcomes and continue enhancements of outcome methodology.
• Collaborate with Educational Grants and Audience Engagement Teams to provide scientific support for new educational grants presentations. Develop concepts for presentation to grantors.
• Assist in the design and development of abstracts, posters, and presentations at medical conferences. Write abstracts as indicated in grant proposals. Determine data to be included in poster. Fill out poster template. Format and review poster for accuracy and completeness (data accuracy, acknowledgement of supporters, PQHE channels).
  When warranted, present posters/publications at medical conferences. Attend meetings for poster presentations when needed.
• Collaborate with advocacy groups, medical centers of excellence, non-profit foundations, and society association partners on development and review of medical and scientific content. Attend meetings with partnership teams and identify business opportunities with support of manager. Develop concepts for identified opportunities for presentation at partnership meetings.
• Able to work within a team providing weekly updates to the VP, Medical Oncology
